Why no low taxable hourly rate for RN Travels?

Why you should say no to a low taxable hourly rate for RN travelers.

1st it can be a red flag to the IRS if you are making less than 18 hour

2nd your taxable rate goes into your social security, granted most of us probably won’t get to see social security but still may

3rd if you get hurt on the travel assignment you are only going to get workman’s comp for the taxable rate. You still won’t get 100% of that.

4th If you want to make a large purchase, like a car, house, or get a loan; if you are making $15 hr you may or may not get the car you want or a house.

Now of course you want to make the most on your assignment but you also want to be covered for everything else.
